Solarize is at the Starting Line!

Mansfield-Windham Solarize celebrated Earth Day with by inviting the community to participate in its first two solar installations. Community members watched C-TEC’s crew install solar panels onto the roofs of Kathorin Stuart and Mike Allison.

Solarize Part 2

The Connecticut Solarize program is ramping up for round 2! This program helps residents save about 20 to 30 percent over market prices on solar installations. Residents in participating towns can sign up at no cost to have a contractor assess their homes for a solar electric system and a solar hot water system.
Part 1 of Solarize was recently completed with over 300 new solar installations in four Connecticut communities! Part 2 of Solarize will be hosted in Windham, Mansfield, Coventry, Canton, and Bridgeport.

Neighborhood to Neighborhood

The spring weather set in early this year, leading Neighbor to Neighbor staff and volunteers to hit the streets across the 14 participating communities to spread the word about energy saving door-to-door.
