Following our public launch, we have been having smaller launches celebrating the work of our partner community groups. If you are a member of a faith organization, service organization or other community group, we are calling on you to rise to the occasion and join us in the Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge. Any efforts that your members take to reduce their energy waste can directly benefit your organization. From April through October you earn points for hosting workshops, signing up members of the community for a “Home Energy Solutions” assessment and completing deeper energy retrofits like insulation and solar thermal hot water heating.

The community group rewards program offers prizes for the community groups whose supporters save the most energy. All coalition partners are eligible to participate in a fundraising opportunity where they can receive $625 for every block of 25 completed “Home Energy Solutions” assessments that are tracked to their group’s efforts. Contact your town’s community organizer to find out your group can join the Challenge and earn up to $5000 towards energy efficiency prizes.
