Neighborhood to Neighborhood
East Hampton's Spice Hill neighbors expect to save a collective $11,000 on their energy bills!
The spring weather set in early this year, leading Neighbor to Neighbor staff and volunteers to hit the streets across the 14 participating communities to spread the word about energy saving door-to-door. From Windham to Wethersfield, from Cheshire to East Haddam, we’re bringing the information to the homes of interested neighbors about how they can save energy, save money, and help their community.
One East Hampton neighborhood is making a big impact! After going door-to-door in the Spice Hill neighborhood, 25% of local residents have signed up to participate in the Energy Challenge. Through their commitment to reduce home energy bills, this neighborhood expects a collective annual savings of $11,400. And for the Town of East Hampton, that means an addition of almost 11,000 points to the Towns Leaderboard.
Is your neighborhood up for the Challenge?
If you think your neighborhood could use a boost in reducing its energy waste through a door-to-door event, contact us at (860) 372-4405 or neighbors@ctenergychallenge.com to sign up.
