Clean energy ambassadors are not hard to come by in Portland. First Selectwoman Susan Bransfield is encouraging all Portland residents to cut their energy use by 20 percent and join Portland’s Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge through personal example.
Glastonbury Audubon Earth Day

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a local neighbor and he came to bring change!
Saturday, April 30th was a great day as we joined in the festivities of Glastonbury’s annual Earth Day celebration at the Connecticut Audubon Society. There was live music, face-painting, birds of prey and even a few llamas!
Wilton Celebrates Clean Energy Award

April 14th was an exciting day at Wilton High School! A ribbon cutting ceremony for the installment of a new 20 kilowatt solar array took place, and was made possible through the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CEEF) and a generous donation from Ron French, president of Alteris Renewables and Wilton resident. His donation is made in loving memory of his late wife.
